In an ever increasingly tight Championship race, beating your closest rivals is going to be key for any team with hopes of promotion.

For Leeds, who want to seal a top two spot, beating the likes of Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, and West Brom, could well prove crucial as they seek to finally regain their place among English football’s elite in the top flight.

Add more firepower

With big summer signing Patrick Bamford injured for the majority of the campaign now, and with with only Kemar Roofe as a central striker seemingly capable of firing the goals in, Leeds need to add more quality in January.

It showed in September when Roofe was out injured just how much the Whites miss him, and signing a striker of significant quality in the winter window could prove vital for their promotion hopes.
