ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Dortmund are looking to lift only their second-ever Champions League trophy on Saturday when they take on Madrid. Los Blancos have been considered the outright favourites to beat the German side, but Terzic has continued to back his players for the clash.

WHAT TERZIC SAID
Speaking to the media, Terzic said: "Our biggest strength? We are the team with the most clean sheets in the competition. You need to keep the opposition as far away from goal as possible. We weren’t at our highest level when we conceded goals in September, but we are a totally different team now and have shown we are ready to compete for the trophy."
On Real Madrid, he said: "We know they are by far the most successful team in this competition. We have had only two defeats this season, but we also see we are ready to compete on the highest level. If you break it down to one game, then everything is possible. They have a role as the favourites, but we weren’t favourites against Atletico or Paris [Saint-Germain] either. If we are brave and not here to see Madrid win their next trophy, then we’re going to have a chance."

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Dortmund have indeed fought through a difficult path to reach the final against Madrid. It started with their placement in the group of death alongside PSG, Newcastle and AC Milan. They managed to top the group and followed it up with a win over PSV in the last-16 before a dramatic two-legged win over Atletico Madrid. They then managed to handle the pressure against PSG and booked their spot at Wembley.

WHAT NEXT FOR DORTMUND?
Terzic's side will now take on Madrid on Saturday, June 1 at Wembley Stadium as they will look to end their season with Europe's most prestigious trophy.
