Leeds United find themselves in a rich vein of form under Daniel Farke, who is already beginning the process of lining up deals ahead of the summer at Elland Road.
Leeds United eyeing January signings
The Whites have been one of the surprise packages of the Premier League campaign, recovering from an indifferent start to force themselves eight points clear of the relegation zone.
One loss in their last eight top-flight fixtures is an illustration of their new-found confidence under Farke, albeit Leeds will feel frustrated at their last-gasp defeat at Newcastle United after playing their part in an extraordinary affair that captured nationwide attention.
Reinforcements are on the radar to make sure the Whites can stay above the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Burnley and West Ham United come the end of the campaign, which will be no easy feat as clubs stock in this month to plan for survival.
With Leeds searching for firepower, Roma striker Artem Dovbyk could be on his way to Elland Road for a fee in the region of £21 million, and a loan deal may also be possible regarding the Ukraine international.
Callum Wison is set to become a free agent and is also on Farke’s radar and is someone that would provide plenty of experience at the top end of the field while averting overreliance on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

There is a feeling in Yorkshire that more is to come from Farke’s squad, and a few fresh additions may be enough to catapult his side into the conversation of a potential mid-table finish.
Now, he is focusing on a new signing that could make a difference at the other end, with Florian Plettenberg now delivering the latest on his situation.
Sky Sports: Leeds trying to sign Danilho Doekhi on free transfer
Taking to social media platform X, Sky Sports Germany reporter Plettenberg has confirmed that Farke is looking to tie up a deal that would see Union Berlin defender Danilho Doekhi sign for Leeds on a free transfer no later than summer.

The 6 foot 3 defender intends to leave the Bundesliga outfit once his contract expires in June, and the Whites have put their hat in the ring as a serious contender to land his services.
Making his presence known, Doekhi has registered six goals in 19 appearances this campaign as a central defender, and would likely become a key threat from set pieces under Farke should he eventually make the switch to Elland Road.
Excitingly, a January move hasn’t been ruled out by Plettenberg, albeit it remains to be seen whether Union Berlin opt to cash in or if they simply wait until the summer before his departure.
